lyrics
"I've committed no crime" said the man who looks nothing like you. "I'm too young to lose this much blood" he cried as he died in the streets of your hood, alone. There are scavengers of human misery. There is a disdain for this pattern of history. No tolerance for your heart of ill consent. No tolerance for your tough guy bull shit. All the names of the innocent dead could fill another book. No more murderers, no more getting off the hook. No tolerance for your heart of ill consent. No tolerance for your tough guy bull shit. The wires that hang keep the blood running cold. This is a corrupt tradition, a sadistic ritual. This mentality fears no witness. Arrogance may pull the trigger. The wires that hang keep the blood running cold. This is a corrupt tradition, a disturbing rite of passage. No contest, no conviction, no noose tightly fashioned from the wires that hang. "I've committed no crime" said the man who looks nothing like you. "I'm too young to lose this much blood" he cried as he dies in the streets of your hood, alone.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
